Welcome

My Creative Country Corner is just an outlet for my thoughts, however crazy, hopefully some creative art using different mediums and just plain fun stuff, recipes I think you might like, and any other things that pass through my mind I would like to share. I hope you can stay for a moment or sit a little longer. When you have to leave, I hope you will come back again. God Bless!

I really hoped to do much better with my Blog than I have so far, but oh my goodness, I have been working on the Census since late April, and the days have flown by.  This was really good for me, as I learned a lot about my county and those neighboring.  We have been here now for 4 years, and I guess it was about time I learned, huh?  Thank goodness, however, for the GPS, otherwise I would still be looking for many places.  I have met many interesting people that I would never have met without doing this.  I will miss some of my travels since it is now officially over but now maybe can just have fun with many enjoyable projects here at home.

It has been a very hot summer already, and we haven't even got to August yet.  There were 19 straight days of over 90 in June alone.  I have lost count now in July.  Hope ya'll are staying cool where ever you are this summer.

Well enough about this. I'm adding several cards I have made earlier but haven't had a chance to post here.   They are all done with the Antique Wallpaper Technique from the most recent Technique Junkies Newsletter.  If you like to play and do all sorts of fun things with ink, paper, and a lot of other gadgets, you will love Pat, who puts these all together, and this group of wonderful ladies who share their artwork that is to die for!  I always say I want to be just like them when I grow up, LOL!!

These first two are using the same stamps and Cuttlebug folder, but the top one was sent to a man, the second to a lady.  By changing just some embellishments, I was able to achieve really two different looks.  Worked out perfect for what I needed!

This next one is still the Antique Wallpaper Technique but using different colors of ink and different Cuttlebug folder.  What fun this technique is.  This is a keeper, for sure.

Hopefully, now I can keep up a little better with my Blog, be a bit more creative and be ale to share more too. Have a good rest of your day and evening.

Blessings and Peace........
